A morning with Skinny Genie left me full of enthusiasm and excitement about the future of Gluten Free home delivery and kid’s birthday parties!
Skinny Genie is a relatively new company that opened in January 2013 with a passion for freshly baked, 100% gluten-free, preservative and sweetener free foods that have reduced or replaced fat with homemade fruit compote. The founder Yann left his extensive career in hotel catering when he saw a niche in the market to produce high quality healthy foods. The company has evolved remarkably quickly from muffins and cookies to a varied menu including soups, salads, pizza, pasta, breads and desserts. All produced in a kitchen that is 100% Gluten Free and has monthly quality testing of each of its products.
Skinny Genie are expanding into Café’s at Adventure HQ with the first 100% Gluten Free café opening in the Children’s Adventure Zone, Galleria Mall, Al Wasl Road. This will be the UAE’s first children’s play area to be 100% Gluten Free and be able to cater for Children’s Birthday parties AND provide the Birthday Cake! Of course with natural food colorings from foods like beetroot. No more deep fried processed kid’s food or turning up to a party with a plastic sandwich box and homemade cupcake to make sure your child has something to eat. This company are way ahead of the game!
For Adults you can now order Skinny Genie lunches to be delivered to your desk or for a night off cooking there is the home delivery option.

A smaller range of their products can be found at the following outlets Café Nero, Costa Coffee, Caribou and Pret-To-Go. Home delivery within 45min between Downtown Dubai and the Marina. 1 hour outside of this area. For Sharjah and DIP a delivery charge of 20-30aed applies. Free delivery to Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and Saturdays (delivery can be arranged on alternative days but a 200aed charge will apply).
